Role Purpose:
RMA is seeking Banking IT Project Coordinator/Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of FinTech and RegTech projects. The ideal candidate will play a dual role in supporting and managing end-to-end project execution—ensuring milestones are met, deliverables are completed on time, and stakeholder expectations are managed effectively. The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and technology partners to achieve project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage IT and financial software implementation projects from initiation to closure.
- Assist in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery of project milestones.
- Monitor project schedules, progress, and risks; prepare regular project status updates and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, including weekly progress meetings and steering committee reviews.
- Prepare project documentation including project plans, meeting minutes, issue logs change requests, and milestone sign-offs.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues; propose mitigation strategies to ensure minimal impact on project outcomes.
- Apply change management principles and track project changes effectively to maintain alignment with objectives.
- Support business and technical teams in aligning project deliverables with functional and system requirements.
- Ensure all project documentation and communication are well-structured, standardized, and archived according to company policy.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT, Project Management, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT project coordination or management within the Banking, Financial
Services, or FinTech industry.
- Exposure to SDLC, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English—both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Job Summary
The person would be part of the OmniRemit Product development and implementation team. The person should have good technical skills and development experience in Microsoft Technologies (MVC5 .Net, JQuery, C#, Bootstrap with HTML5, Web Services for Interfaces and MS SQL 2012 and above as Database Server and SSRS for Reporting.). He would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, system development, modifying systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installation and support application systems
Primary Responsibilities
- To build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design using Microsoft Technologies.
- To develop well designed, testable, efficient code and Integrated software components into a fully functional software system
- To Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.

- Experience with DHTML, Bootstrap, CSS and JQuery

- Working experience in Angular Js and React Js.
- 2 to 3 year(s) or more of working experience in the Web Application Development including unit testing, performance tuning, and scalability.

JOB SCOPE
The person would be part of the Data Management & Regulatory Reporting Team as a Functional Data Analyst. The Data Management & Regulatory Reporting team is in-charge of developing DataMarts required for reporting for Financial Institutions covering reports for Asset Liability Management (ALM), Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Fund Transfer Reporting (FTP), IFRS9 Solution implementation etc for Financial Institutions in South East Asia region. There will also be a hands-on training that will be provided by leads along with the support structure to the selected candidate to build up the knowledge level required for the execution of Jobs.
The selected candidate will be working with the Subject Matter Expert Leads and will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing source data mapping, documenting of reporting requirements, perform data validations on cleansing rules, testing and co-ordinate with clients and internal team for project implementation. The candidate with Finance and Accounting background, complemented by experience in Regulatory Reporting (in particular, Bank Negara Malaysia) and good technical skills in Microsoft Excel will be preferred.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To capture reporting requirements (Business Requirement Specifications), data mapping, data transformation rules which meets end users’ requirements based on Central Bank Rules and Regulation
- Assist team to define the logic to be used, concept of reconciliation, transformation or data flow process and simplify the formula in data development after received the report requirement
- To be part of the Project implementation team to assist in execution and troubleshooting for performing reconciliation testing, system integration testing (SIT) and User Acceptance testing (UAT)
- To assist in providing training to End Users on execution and result verification.
- To identify changes and new requirement requests on the existing reports and for new reports.
- Have a good relationship, communication and coordinate with end users and technical team to present level of expectations on project scope, deliverables, and timeline
- Experience or familiar in preparation of regulatory reporting for financial institutions will be an extra advantage.

- Fair understanding of Project Implementation Stages (SIT, UAT, PROD, DR)
